The story
Claire has loved her childhood neighbor Miles for years, but the hockey captain treats her only as a friend. When his teammates dare her to distract rival player Finn, Miles goes along with it. Claire approaches Finn with a bottle of water, expecting to be embarrassed.
Finn has already noticed her in a film class and responds with genuine interest. As their relationship grows, her roommate Hannah creates trouble and Miles suddenly wants Claire for himself. The contrast makes Claire reconsider how little she has accepted from the boy she has loved for so long.
