The story
For seven years, Daphne has watched the man she loves overlook her while noticing every small change in Chloe. When she ends up alone in an emergency room, she removes her ring, destroys her SIM card and leaves for Santa Fe. Her departure ends years of waiting to be treated as a priority.
He discovers her absence and the notebooks where she recorded her disappointments. His late pursuit includes a diamond and attempts to reach the woman he kept neglecting. Daphne rejects those gestures and starts again, no longer arranging her life around whether he will finally notice her.
