My Husband Faked His Death9.2

Encouraged by Lily, Jake pretends to disappear during a skiing trip so he can escape the wife he considers too clingy. Mia spends three months caught in his deception before uncovering the truth. She responds by having him legally declared dead and organizing a memorial service.

At the gathering, Mia produces evidence of the lie and forces the issue of divorce. Jake continues pursuing her and later stages another disappearance, but Mia and Ryan expose him. With Ryan’s support, she begins building a life that no longer revolves around the husband who tried to make her wait indefinitely.
